Praise

Milo the Moss and the Mighty Big World is one of the sweetest and most comforting children’s stories I have read in a long time. From the very first pages, I felt pulled into Milo’s quiet little corner of the garden. Even though he is small and unsure of his place in the world, there is something so gentle and relatable about him that I found myself rooting for him immediately.

Overall, I genuinely loved reading this. It has a calm, soothing tone that makes it perfect for bedtime, and the message about discovering your own quiet magic is beautiful. A truly heartwarming and memorable read.

– Stella Maxwell on Milo the Moss and the Mighty Big World

My kids loved this book. It's beautifully illustrated, perfect for bed time reading. We enjoyed the moral of the story, a beautiful lesson that led to a discussion with the kids about feeling grumpy and having a bad day. It's a lovely book.

– Marina Nel on Milo the Moss and the Grumpy Day

An absolute must-read! This gentle story is a masterful exploration of fear, courage, and embracing the unknown. The author handles the theme of encountering differences—both in new people and new situations—with beautiful sensitivity. Milo's moment of bravery, leading to an unexpected friendship, is a powerful, encouraging message for young children facing new schools, moving, or meeting new friends. The timeless ink and wash illustrations are stunning and perfectly complement the sweet, reassuring tone. Highly recommend this book for starting conversations about curiosity and kindness! Five stars!
